Plaksha's MS in AI program welcomes its first cohort next month, and the profiles of students who have been offered admission are extraordinary. These are graduates from institutions like BITS Pilani, Purdue, UC Davis, NIT Raipur and IISER Mohali, some stepping straight out of their undergraduate programs and others bringing experience from finance, banking, consulting and automotive tech at firms like Morgan Stanley, Barclays, JP Morgan and BMW Techworks. What makes this group truly exciting is the diversity of thought it brings together: academic backgrounds ranging from engineering and computer science to economics, physics and liberal arts, all united by a shared ambition to go deep in AI. They will be taught by faculty trained at UC Berkeley, Oxford, Purdue, NTU and the IITs, along with visiting professors from Penn Engineering. Applications for the final round close on June 10, 2026. 🔗 Apply now: ms-ai.plaksha.edu.in/?utm_so… #InventingTheFuture #ReimaginingTechEd #CreatorsFirst #PlakshaUniversity

The next big upgrade for a 3D print shop may not be another printer. It may be better file organization, cleaner design review, and repeatable notes for every job. That is where SD TechWorks is focused. #MakerBusiness #3DPrinting

He also holds equity in Everybody Techworks, whose “People” app collects voter data across 33 congressional districts, analyzes it with AI, and may be violating California’s CCPA privacy laws. Voters whose data was entered by canvassers never consented and have no disclosed deletion mechanism (only app users do). He wants to “regulate AI”. And yet he’s already deployed it on your front door without telling you.

Saikat: 1. Your website says “the private market won’t build affordable housing on its own.” Your 2025 financial disclosure shows $2.5M–$6M invested in private Opportunity Zone real estate funds with zero affordability requirements, created by the 2017 Trump tax cuts that your platform opposes. Which position reflects your actual beliefs? 2. You say you support BDS and call for an arms embargo on Israel. Your 2025 disclosure shows holdings in Blackstone, KKR, and Microsoft, all documented BDS boycott targets with Israel contracts. How do you reconcile that? 3. Your campaign publicly committed to running the largest canvassing operation in SF congressional history. You also hold $50–$100K in equity in Everybody Techworks. Is your campaign using their People app for canvassing? - Follow-up: Your FEC filings show zero payments to Everybody Techworks. Who is paying for the service and how? - Follow-up: Is it CCPA compliant in the way it stores and retains voter data?

More to note on Saikat: 1. He’s invested in Blue Owl GP Stakes, Blackstone, and other PE firms that profit directly from the carried interest loophole he says he wants to close. 2. Holds significant stock in BDS-targeted companies like KKR and Microsoft (among others), while positioning himself as “pro-Palestinian”. 3. Has money parked in Opportunity Zone tax shelters created by Trump’s 2017 Republican tax law, while campaigning on closing tax breaks for the wealthy. 4. Holds $50-100K in equity in Everybody Techworks, whose “People” app is harvesting voter data for his campaign. The app has no disclosed data retention policy and no user deletion mechanism, despite likely exceeding CCPA’s 100K-consumer threshold. Yet he claims to be the “AI safety” candidate. What he invests in and campaigns on completely contradict each other.

Sounds like the People app has likely exceeded the threshold of 100K California voters that they’re collecting data on. If so, the Saikat-backed Everybody Techworks is likely violating CCPA laws around consumer privacy and data retention.
Replying to @KimChiSpicey
Swing Left is running their AI voter data program in 4 California congressional districts: CA-13, CA-22, CA-45, CA-48. Combined population: ~3M CA residents California’s CCPA privacy and data requirements kick in when a company collects data on 100K California consumers. At even a 3% contact rate across those 4 districts, they’ve very likely exceeded that threshold. If so, they’re required by a lot to provide: 1. A disclosed data retention schedule. They have none. 2. A “Do Not Sell or Share My Information” mechanism. They have none. 3. Accurate disclosure of all data categories collected. Their policy omits the core product entirely: voter names, addresses, political opinions, likelihood-to-vote scores, and AI-analyzed voice transcriptions of canvasser notes. None of these appear anywhere in their privacy policy or website. And the voters having their data collected have no idea, no notice, and no recourse. swingleft.org/house

In case anyone wants receipts that the Saikat-backed Everybody Techworks is harvesting voter data (via the People app) and feeding it to AI without their knowledge, and compiling it into a central database. Grassroots Connector Substack (grassrootsconnector.substack…) is where the specific survey questions appear. That piece describes canvassers dictating conversation details into the People app via voice-to-text after each encounter. The Connector Substack (theconnector.substack.com/p/…) is where the confirmation that the app collects data on people not matchable to any voter file comes from, along with the Becky Bond and Jin Ding co-founder confirmation. Swing Left’s own press release (swingleft.org/statements/gro…) confirms the AI-assisted analysis, the DDx sharing chain, and the voice-to-text open-ended notes feature.
Replying to @KimChiSpicey
1. Saikat holds $50K-$100K in Everybody Techworks, a startup that built the “People” app. It’s canvassing tool that uses AI voice-to-text analysis on data collected about voters through “natural conversations”. 2. Per their privacy policy: “You have the right to request that we delete any of your Personal Information that we collected from you.” Key words: collected FROM you. So the right belongs to canvassers using the app. Not to the voter being talked to and having their data unknowingly fed to AI.
