A research paper at WACV 2026. A fellowship at Purdue. All before finishing his third year. Udaiveer Singh, a BTech student at Plaksha, has been selected for the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) at Purdue University, one of Plaksha's partner institutions. The 11-week, fully funded fellowship accepts just 3–4% of applicants, with the bar set even higher for international students. His research journey began under Prof Shashank Tamaskar, Director of the Center for Sustainable and Precision Agriculture at Plaksha. That mentorship led to SPEAR, a lightweight multimodal foundation framework for Earth observation, published at the IEEE/CVF Winter Conference on Applications of Computer Vision (WACV) 2026, co-authored with researchers from Plaksha and Purdue. The paper applies physics-aware multimodal learning to agricultural and environmental analytics at scale. Under the mentorship of Prof Dharmendra Saraswat, Professor of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Purdue University, he is spending this summer building a foundation model for crop monitoring and agroecosystem analytics. #ReimagineTechEd #InventingTheFuture #CreatorsFirst #NewKindOfEngineer #PlakshaUniversity

Plaksha's MS in AI is built on a simple conviction: that we are living through one of the most consequential technological shifts in human history, and that the leaders who shape it will need more than technical fluency. The one-year, residential program combines rigorous AI fundamentals with a five-month Industry Immersion Project, faculty trained at Stanford, UC Berkeley, Oxford, Purdue, NTU and the IITs, and a curriculum developed in partnership with Penn Engineering. At a recent event in Mumbai, that conviction found an unexpected echo. Srikanth Velamakanni, Chairperson, NASSCOM and Co-founder and Group CEO of Fractal, told young professionals that the ability to learn fast, build things with real-world value, and lead with an entrepreneurial mindset are what this era demands. "It is not about using the tools," he said, "but revamping them." Watch the video to know more. #InventingTheFuture #ReimaginingTechEd #CreatorsFirst #PlakshaUniversity

Plaksha's MS in AI program welcomes its first cohort next month, and the profiles of students who have been offered admission are extraordinary. These are graduates from institutions like BITS Pilani, Purdue, UC Davis, NIT Raipur and IISER Mohali, some stepping straight out of their undergraduate programs and others bringing experience from finance, banking, consulting and automotive tech at firms like Morgan Stanley, Barclays, JP Morgan and BMW Techworks. What makes this group truly exciting is the diversity of thought it brings together: academic backgrounds ranging from engineering and computer science to economics, physics and liberal arts, all united by a shared ambition to go deep in AI. They will be taught by faculty trained at UC Berkeley, Oxford, Purdue, NTU and the IITs, along with visiting professors from Penn Engineering. Applications for the final round close on June 10, 2026. 🔗 Apply now: ms-ai.plaksha.edu.in/?utm_so… #InventingTheFuture #ReimaginingTechEd #CreatorsFirst #PlakshaUniversity

#CreatorsFirst What stands out about Funke Akindele isn’t just the awards or records, it’s the ability to keep going when things don’t go as planned. That kind of consistency is rare, and it’s what separates talent from greatness.
Funke Akindele built her own lane, and owned it. She didn’t have a perfect journey. She had setbacks, criticism, and moments people thought she was done. But she didn’t stop. She evolved. Reinvented herself. Stayed consistent. From “Jenifa” to box office dominance, she turned every doubt into fuel, and every setback into a stronger comeback. 🏆 Some of her standout records: 🩸 Highest-grossing filmmaker in Nollywood history 🩸 First Nigerian director to cross ₦1 billion at the box office (with Battle on Buka Street) 🩸 Multiple AMVCA wins across acting and production 🩸 Creator of one of Nigeria’s most successful comedy franchises (Jenifa’s Diary) 🩸 Consistent top performer at the Nigerian box office That’s the real lesson: It’s not about avoiding failure. It’s about refusing to stay down. Build your lane. Stay in it. Grow in it. Your story can still change. #MondayMotivation #NigerianExcellence

Music Meets Real Utility 🔥 ✅ How @BambitzRecords is turning streams into real ecosystem value Music streaming has always been simple. Artists release. Listeners stream. Platforms distribute. But most of the time, that’s where the interaction ends. Streaming is active in the moment, but passive in impact. That’s the part #BambitzRecords is approaching differently. Here’s a full rewrite of the two sections with the same pattern and flow, but with entirely different words: More Than Just Dropping A Song Watching the studio sessions for "We Are One", it’s obvious this is more than just releasing music. Andy, Riley, Benny, and Sophie aren’t simply laying down vocals, they’re shaping something purposeful. Every note carries story, feeling, and a clear message woven into the sound. This layer of creativity is crucial. It’s what gives the project depth and identity beyond just the track itself. From Market Challenges to a Larger Message The song began with familiar pressures - the stress, uncertainty, and volatility of the bear market. But it quickly transformed into something greater: a story about connection and togetherness. " We Are One" shows that even in unstable times, people can come together, find common ground, and share hope despite the surrounding noise. That’s why it resonates. It’s direct, genuine, and easy for anyone to connect with. Where Utility Comes In: LISTEN2BURN Beyond the music, there’s a system working in the background. With #Listen2Burn, streams are not just numbers. 🔹Each stream contributes to ecosystem activity 🔹Artists are supported through real engagement 🔹Activity connects back to $BAM through buybacks and burns So instead of listening being passive, it becomes part of a working loop. Why This Model Feels Different The difference is in how everything connects. ✔ Music drives attention ✔ Attention creates activity ✔ Activity feeds the ecosystem It’s a simple structure, but it changes the role of the listener. You’re not just playing a track - you’re participating in something that grows with every stream. What This Means Long Term For most platforms, growth comes from spikes - trends, hype, and short bursts of attention. But models like this depend on consistency. People streaming. People sharing. People staying engaged. That’s what builds something sustainable. My Final Thought What stands out to me is how @BambitzRecords is positioning itself. It’s not just experimenting with music or Web3 trends, it’s building a system where music, community, and value are all connected in a practical way. If this continues to develop the right way, Bambitz could play a real role in shaping how music platforms evolve - moving from passive streaming to active participation. Stream it, Burn it 👇 open.spotify.com/artist/1lgP… #Bambitz #Web3Music #Listen2Burn #MusicTech #CreatorsFirst

Meet the Plakshan building Sarvam’s 105-billion-parameter large language model (LLM). Soham Petkar, a BTech 2025 graduate, is part of a team of 15 young engineers at Sarvam AI pushing the boundaries of India’s AI frontier with LLMs designed for real world impact. He worked across the pre-training and supervised fine-tuning pipelines. His work focused on scaling rare formal LEAN4 mathematics datasets, improving STEM tutoring capabilities, and building agentic software features along with robust evaluation frameworks to ensure the models can autonomously solve complex engineering tasks. Following months of systematic testing, iteration, and analysis, the Sarvam 105B and 30B MoE models now rank and perform on par with models in comparable and even larger parameter classes. #InventingtheFuture #NewKindofEngineer #CreatorsFirst #PlakshaUniversity
