Government Of India: કેન્દ્ર સરકારે મેસેજિંગ એપ્સના ઉપયોગ માટે અત્યંત મહત્ત્વનો આદેશ જાહેર કર્યો છે, જેના કારણે દેશના કરોડો યુઝર્સની એપનો ઉપયોગ કરવાની પદ્ધતિ બદલાઈ શકે છે. હવેથી વોટ્સએપ, ટેલિગ્રામ, સિગ્નલ, સ્નેપચેટ, શેરચેટ, જિયોચેટ, અરાટ્ટાઈ અને જોશ જેવી લોકપ્રિય એપ્સ એક્ટિવ સિમકાર્ડ વગર ચાલી નહીં શકે. કેન્દ્રના દૂરસંચાર વિભાગે આ નવો નિયમ અમલી બનાવ્યો છે. નવા નિયમની જોગવાઈઓ: સિમ બાઇન્ડિંગ: આ નિયમનો અમલ ટેલિકમ્યુનિકેશન સાઇબર સિક્યોરિટી અમેન્ડમેન્ટ રુલ્સ 2025 હેઠળ કરવામાં આવી રહ્યો છે. આ પહેલીવાર બન્યું છે કે એપ આધારિત સેવાઓને પણ ટેલિકોમના નિયમો હેઠળ લાવવામાં આવી છે. સિમ એક્ટિવ જરૂરી: નવો સિમ બાઇન્ડિંગ નિયમ આ એપ્સ પર પણ તે જ પ્રણાલિ અમલી બનાવશે જેવી બેન્કિગ અને યુપીઆઈ એપ્સમાં હોય છે. એટલે કે, જ્યાં સિમ એક્ટિવ જ નહીં હોય ત્યાં લોગ ઇન જ નહીં થઈ શકે. નવો આદેશ 90 દિવસમાં અમલી: સરકારે આ એપ્સને ટેલિકમ્યુનિકેશન આઇડેન્ટિફાયર યુઝર એન્ટાઇટીઝની શ્રેણીમાં મૂકી છે. આ પ્લેટફોર્મ્સે સુનિશ્ચિત કરવું પડશે કે યુઝર્સ સિમકાર્ડ સાથે જ આ પ્લેટફોર્મ પર જોડાયેલા હોય. એપ્સે 90 દિવસની અંદર આ નિયમનો અમલ કરવો પડશે. ઓટો લોગઆઉટ: વેબ બ્રાઉઝરથી એપનો ઉપયોગ કરનારાઓ માટે પણ એક મોટો ફેરફાર છે. તેના હેઠળ દર છ કલાકે એપ ઓટો લોગઆઉટ થઈ જશે. ફરીથી લોગ-ઇન કરવા માટે યુઝરે ફરીથી QR કોડ સ્કેન કરવો પડશે. સરકારનો ઉદ્દેશ્ય: સરકારનું કહેવું છે કે આ પગલાંના કારણે ગુનેગારોને રિમોટથી નકલી એકાઉન્ટ ચલાવવું અઘરું પડશે, કારણ કે દરેક વખતે એક્ટિવ અને વેરિફાઇડ સિમની જરૂર પડશે. હાલમાં, સાઇબર ગુનેગારો સિમ બદલ્યા પછી કે બંધ કર્યા પછી પણ એપનો ઉપયોગ જારી રાખી શકે છે, જેથી તેમનું લોકેશન ટ્રેસ થઈ શકતું નથી. સાઇબર નિષ્ણાતોનું કહેવું છે કે આના કારણે છેતરપિંડીની સંભાવનામાં ખાસ્સો ઘટાડો થઈ શકે છે. #SimBinding #MessagingApps #CyberSecurity #TelecomRules #WhatsAppChanges #NewGovtOrder #DigitalSafety #Authentication #ActiveSimRequired #IndianTechPolicy #Gscard #Gujaratsamachar
