Cut poor Sakurai some slack. Kirby is not even a year old.
Maybe Smash is in development for 10-12 months. Maybe a bit pre- development time before that.
I don't see an announcement before late 2027 or mid 2028.
Imo Kirby was a bit of a testrun with 4k development for Sakurai.

Since 2021 I've watched dozens of studios launch on Ronin. Until now, ecosystem support meant grants: manual, case by case, one team at a time.
Tomorrow that model flips: Proof of Distribution Season 1 ends June 13th, and @Ronin_Network starts paying builders automatically based on what they actually bring onchain. Season 2 begins the moment S1 closes.
Here is why this matters:
1⃣ 410,958 RON gets distributed every season, and it goes to builders, not emissions. This is RON previously allocated to security, now repurposed to reward teams onboarding real users.
2⃣ Season 1 was a live testrun. The team adjusted calculations multiple times to filter out sybil attacks and wash trading, so rewards land with projects building sticky products, not bots farming metrics.
3⃣ The results show it works:
Craft World hit 40,000 unique users this month with a fully on-chain economy.
Ragnarok Landverse America cracked the top 5 on marketplace volume, proving Web2 players adapt fast when they can actually own and trade their items.
Key dates:
> S1 ends and S2 begins: June 13th, 7am UTC
> Internal review for botting and wash trading: June 14th to 21st
> S1 rewards hit builder wallets: around June 21st
The leaderboard resets between seasons, so every team starts S2 with a clean slate.
What comes next is even more interesting:
An honor system where builders, collectors, players, and asset holders all feed into each other. One idea on the table is weighing user reputation into a builder's growth score, making the whole system harder to game.
Five years in this ecosystem, and this is the first reward design I've seen that pays for growth instead of paying for hype.

2/ Season 1 Recap
Proof of Distribution Season 1 marked the first time we implemented automated rewards on Ronin, and served as a testrun for the protocol.
Throughout the season, we monitored network activity and adjusted the calculations multiple times to prevent sybil attacks and wash trading.
These iterations ensure that RON goes exactly where it belongs: into the hands of teams onboarding real users and building sticky products.
As a reminder, PoD rewards are coming from RON previously allocated for security, which we are now using to incentivize adoption and growth.

For the purpose of next time this situation like this, please make a video of the test run process and probably with a voice note confirming to him that it's in good condition.
Also take pictures of numbers or any part of the TV and send to him to indicate that you sent him the same TV or appliance he saw in the testrun video.
Finally, if possible, have an agreement that possible damages during the process of waybill won't be on you.

I'm not a @PrimeVideo customer yet, and the only way I will be is for Martin Geros Stargate.
So how many out of those 110 k so far would be new subscribers like me.
Plus then the collectors edition boxes, new ultimate collections, new merch, online rentals, digital purchases.
I used to be a numbers guy, but my head is "mathing" the way it used (screwthatstroke!).
But it's starting to look like quite a bit of revenue is getting thrown in the fire pit here!
Let Martin Gero and his legacy crew and actors etc make a 13 episode testrun.
