I’m absolutely here for this.
Human beings have always tested themselves against one another. We have raced horses, boxed, wrestled, fenced, sailed, flown, competed, and measured our strength, skill, courage, and determination. Nations do the same. Militaries do the same.
Theodore Roosevelt understood that strength and character matter. So do discipline, competition, and the willingness to challenge yourself.
If a boxing match on the White House grounds is what has people losing their minds today, there are far more important things in the world to worry about. I’d rather see people striving to be stronger than arguing over everything.
America has never been perfect, but I still believe in her. I believe in resilience, confidence, healthy competition, and the idea that our best days are still ahead of us.
