last year, they spent christmas eve and christmas together, quietly, building lego, and william posted that timelapse with “i remember” playing in the background. it felt soft, warm and personal, like a small moment they chose to hold onto.
this year, even though william couldn’t be there on the actual dates because he had to return to hatyai for family matters, est said during his event on the 27th that they would still celebrate christmas together🥹 and they did! they went to WOODS.bkk on the 28th, just the two of them, and used the same song again for their timelapsevideo: i remember. what makes this even more meaningful is that, in the past, when william was asked to choose a song that describes williamest, he answered “i remember.”
so i guess you could say it isn’t just a song, but it is a thread across time. last christmas, this christmas, their story, their memories, them.. it’s not coincidence but continuity: “i remember, WE are still here” ❤️🩹

ALT Attempting to photograph the peak of the Leonid meteor shower, I headed out long before dawn hoping for clear skies over Antelope Lake in Plumas County California. Leo’s radiant rises in the early morning here in the northern hemisphere, so I left home around 2–3 AM under perfectly clear stars. Halfway to the lake I hit fog and cloud cover, so I tried Plan B: driving north from Janesville on US-395 toward the high desert. That was fogged in too, so I made a final push up the rugged road toward the top of Shaffer Mountain to get above the inversion layer. I ended up between dense fog below and heavy cloud above, but I set up cameras anyway for moody pre-dawn time lapses. One sequence was ruined by shifting fog, but a 900-frame sunrise series captured atmospheric color, rolling fog layers, and the quiet high-country landscape despite the failed meteor hunt.
