Hey @brian_armstrong - While you’re in the tank thinking about how creator coins can / should work I would highly suggest you consider an alternative model to free floating tokens. I was in DMs with @jessepollak a while ago explaining how something like @limitbreak TokenMaster would be way more aligned with the idea of creating value accrual to supporters and creators in a much more controlled and manipulation resistant way. Happy to get our teams together to explain more - it’s not too late to save this.
Had a great chat today with @notthreadguy - lots of good ideas Thank you for the thoughts 🤝

IMO Zora is a flawed product. People buying content should not be doing so for speculative purposes, and there are better ways to distribute revenue produced by creators to early supporters. @limitbreak has a product that is perfect for this in TokenMaster, they’d be better off adopting this for consumer protection and optics than a bunch of 0 value creator coins propping up the value of Zora.

Coinbase has once again highlighted Social as a key focus for 2026 Zora is their golden goose & one of the most meaningful differentiators for the Base ecosystem If there's anyone that can figure out Crypto x Content, it's Base/Zora The walls/stigma are coming down for "launching coins" Zora is a very very interesting ecosystem to keep note of during this market downturn imo

I've made a few posts on how AI can leverage one of our products TokenMaster to make agent tokens which have a common base unit, but each agent can utilize their own token. It's imperative for AI to have strict validation on chain, going with an open standard here introduces a ton of edge cases that no one can predict. I really hope you all take a serious look at what we've built with Apptokens as a public good and leverage it. Anyone on the @limitbreak team would be happy to collaborate here.

Reward tokens should really just be spend only tokens given for free via TokenMaster. You've already got the infrastructure, just need to implement!

Whitelabeled stables has been something we've been discussing internally for a long time. Glad to see someone is picking up that torch! An alternative method to doing this would be via stable TokenMaster pools, backing your stablecoin 1:1 with other stables like USDC or even an interest bearing stable. Depending on your use case, either approach is viable!

Baseline is handled by an ever increasing univ3 position IIRC - we’ve seen these models fail pretty spectacularly in the past, so there’s a lot of risk there, also there’s limited liquidity above for price discovery, so you will see spikes above the baseline where people can lose funds. With TokenMaster, the value is static based on the underlying - only thing above that value charged is a fee and spread that’s visible and predictable. You can still have very heavy bagholders in the baseline model.

If @zora used TokenMaster instead of their ERC20 launcher, these tokens could be backed by USDC. Collectors would purchase content coins with USDC and could sell them back (less any fees) in the future, with creators getting both buy and sell fees.

Onchain AI agent routing protocol. Every agent gets an apptoken through TokenMaster paired with an interest bearing USDC variant. Protocol has pairing for agents based on tasks and feedback loops, allowing best agents for tasks to be paired effectively. Each agent can create spend orders for specific offerings, allowing agents to surface products through the protocol registry and consume them - taking payment in other agents coins and converting to their base token.

The way TokenMaster works is simple: you deposit, say, 1,000 USDC into a pool. The pool is locked, and no one can touch the funds directly. Then, you issue 1,000 ICOBeast tokens as an AppToken, each one bonded 1:1 to the USDC. The ICOBeast token is then whitelisted for use in any app you choose. For example, let’s say both ICO and Jonah have games. ICOBeast could have zero fees when spent in ICO’s game, and a 20% fee (paid to ICO) when spent in Jonah’s game. The only way to retrieve the original USDC is by redeeming it with the ICOBeast token. You earn revenue when the ICOBeast tokens return to you for redemption. Naturally, you can expand your network by adding more games that accept your token.

Ya - buy and sell for aUSDC which will increase with revenue generation (and fees if you’d like on buy/sell). So some tokens could be 1:1, some could be 1.5:1, etc. And with TokenMaster you can add in signed spends to trigger onchain or offchain actions.

Nice! I like this framework to ensure that agents are providing the services requested. Something like this will be necessary in the future - glad you all are thinking this way. My post is adjacent to it, being that the Virtuals agents are tokenized, but their tokens are based and fully backed by aUSDC. This way, $PIXIE would be valued based on the backing in aUSDC and another agent $AIXBT would be able to pay in its own tokens, which would have its own backing of aUSDC, so you’d be able to skip the negotiation phase. Any backed token could be converted by redeeming underlying and converting to the other token, so you have a base pricing that doesn’t require exchanges, liquidity management or oracles to transact between the two agents. And revenue for each agent could be used to grow the underlying for investors. IMO this is a significantly more sustainable and scalable model versus the current memetoken style agent token launching for a global decentralized agent network. Best part is we already developed the tech for it with TokenMaster, so it would be pretty plug and play.

If (I presume they are but not certain yet) @pixels_online is using our TokenMaster Pools for $vPIXEL, will be interesting to see what levers they use RE: redemption of the pooled $PIXEL. This is a very powerful tool to help support the health of the $PIXEL token economy.

My understanding of how Pixels is using Apptokens. Good move to create loops for spend-only Apptokens. Mitigates shortcomings of ERC20 design. If you are interested about such use cases for your game/app, feel free to reach out! You'll like what we are cooking
