A true hero! 🐾 K9 Topper of #SouthamptonVillage PD found a missing 10-year-old boy who disappeared into the woods on a cold January night. K9 Topper & his handler, Officer Moore, located the boy, who had run away & vanished from his parents’ sight. With snow falling & strong winds intensifying the chill that night, the boy, dressed only in a light jacket & sneakers, was at serious risk from the cold. Thanks to this dedicated K9 team, they found him just in time, saving his life. K9 Topper & his handler are proud alumni of #SpikesSchool, having participated in our first #TrackingCourse in 2021. They’ve applied everything they learned & it’s made a significant impact on their success in the field, as shown in this recent news.
