■ [Mental Imagery Method] “Transforming Your Palm into a Garden – Imaginative Training”
■ Developing your potential requires cultivating your imagination. While imagination has many aspects, the ability to vividly picture concrete scenes or objects is a core strength. Imagery can engage all senses—visual, auditory, olfactory, tactile, thermal, and kinesthetic. In this exercise, we aim to activate *all* of them.
■ [Training Steps]
① Visualize a vast and beautiful natural landscape in the background.
② In that scene, imagine extending your *left hand*, palm facing upward.
③ Gradually transform your palm into a stunning miniature garden. (See illustration.)
■ The key is not to *place* a garden on your palm, but to *transform your palm itself* into the garden—detail the entire process vividly.
■ Engage all sensory input, including tactile and kinesthetic sensations, to spark a *new imaginative experience.*
■ In Kurita-style ability development, we focus on enhancing the functionality of the imagined hand. This training is the first step.
