The 2026 #TreeAdoption Program has officially launched in #Beijing. People in the city can use the "Capital Voluntary Tree-Planting" WeChat mini app to select their preferred trees, pay a fee, and sign an “adoption” agreement online, completing the whole process digitally.

.@tree_adoptionug will plant a tree for every child born at International Hospital Kampala or any of the International Medical Centre. Each baby will receive a tree certificate with GPS coordinates of the tree. Track that tree growth using the #TreeAdoption App. #Trees4Babies

Do not forget: our health depends on the health of the planet! Celebrate forests today! Plant some trees and map them with the #TreeAdoption App. That 🌳 is not planted if not mapped!

We must also be intentional about restoration. Despite being a low hanging fruit in the efforts against #ClimateCrisis - it has to be done right. One step is to ensure we account for each tree planted using the #TreeAdoption app and other GPS enabled tools.

Earlier this month, our colleagues enjoyed the opportunity to get outside and support Charlotte's urban tree canopy by sponsoring @treescharlotte's First-Timers TreeAdoption and distributing nearly 300 trees to be planted around Charlotte.
