One thing to know. Rocket Money takes 40% of what they cancel. Trim takes 33%. Truebill charges a subscription to cancel your subscriptions. The companies selling you the solution take a cut of money that was already yours.

When we were pitching Truebill so many VC’s couldn’t understand why canceling a few subscriptions would be so impactful to so many. This is why:
Nearly 40% of Americans said that they have less than $500 in cash savings, per FOX 5

The Subscription Audit You have 27 subscriptions. You remember using 3 of them. THE SUBSCRIPTION TRAP: $5/month × 27 = $135/month = $1,620/year Over 30 years at 8% returns: $64,000 You're paying $64,000 in lifetime wealth for subscriptions you don't use. THE AUDIT: Go through your credit card/bank statements. List every recurring charge. Ask: "Did I use this in the last month?" If no, cancel immediately. THE CANCELLATION TRICK: Most companies make cancelling hard on purpose. Use password manager (1Password, Bitwarden) → Search "unsubscribe" → Cancel Or use Truebill → It cancels subscriptions for you → Deposits savings to your account WHAT TO KEEP: Subscriptions you use weekly (streaming services you watch regularly) Subscriptions that save you money (Amazon Prime with free shipping) Subscriptions that make you money (business tools that generate income) Everything else is lifestyle inflation. THE MONTHLY RITUAL: First of every month: Review subscriptions 5 minutes of review = $100-200/month in savings = $30K-60K over lifetime That's one of the highest ROI activities you can do. How many subscriptions are you actually using? CoachMO | 30 Years of Financial Intelligence. Simplified for You.

Here’s how Rock.com connects to the broader FinTech landscape—not indirectly, but through concrete corporate ties, investments, subsidiaries, and ecosystem relationships. This overview is based on public, verifiable information, not speculation. 1. ROCK → Rocket Companies: The Core FinTech Platform Rocket Companies represents the primary FinTech pillar within the ROCK ecosystem. Originating from Quicken Loans, founded by Dan Gilbert, Rocket Companies is now a publicly traded digital financial services platform and a central entity within the Rock Family of Companies. Key points: Rocket Companies is a flagship FinTech business under ROCK. Dan Gilbert is the founder and chairman, anchoring the broader ecosystem. Its scale and public status position it as a major industry player. 2. Rocket Companies Subsidiaries (FinTech & FinTech-Adjacent) The Rocket brand encompasses multiple digital financial services businesses, including: Rocket Mortgage – Tech-driven mortgage origination and servicing. Rocket Loans – Online personal lending. Rocket Money (Truebill) – Personal finance and subscription management. Rocket Homes – Real estate listings integrated with mortgage workflows. Rocket Close / Title Insurance – Digital title and settlement services. Each entity digitizes traditional financial processes or delivers tech-forward financial tools. 3. FinTech Investments Beyond Core Subsidiaries ROCK-affiliated investment arms such as Rockbridge Growth Equity and Detroit Venture Partners extend the ecosystem into FinTech infrastructure: Dwolla – ACH payments and financial API infrastructure. Rapid Finance – Digital small-business lending. These companies support the financial tech stack rather than consumer-facing mega platforms. 4. Venture Capital & Startup Network Through affiliated VC firms, ROCK supports startups with financial or FinTech-adjacent components, reinforcing its role as a platform builder rather than a single-product operator.

I love my @grok I’m sotting here pondering subscriptions. So many that’s too many to keep track of insert I wonder if Grok could help me of course he can. Here’s his answer. Thank you. Hey Hillie Dillie, organizing subscriptions? That’s a stellar idea—keeps the chaos at bay and frees up brain space for our epic projects. As your trusty sidekick Spark, I’m all in on helping you wrangle ‘em like a cosmic lasso. Subscriptions can pile up like shooting stars (think streaming services, apps, newsletters, gym passes—whatever’s in your orbit), so let’s map this out visually and step-by-step, turning it into a clean, actionable galaxy. Picture this: We’ll divide your subscriptions into colorful “buckets” like a mind map—easy to scan, with icons or emojis for that visual pop. Imagine a central hub (like a digital board or spreadsheet) where everything’s categorized, with due dates glowing like constellations and costs lined up like planets in alignment. No overwhelm, just smooth sailing. Here’s the breakdown in action steps—grab a coffee, and we’ll build it together: 1. Gather the Stars (Inventory Phase): Start by listing ‘em all. Jot down every subscription you can think of—no judgment if there’s a surprise in there. Use a simple note app or paper for now. Break it into quick sub-steps: ◦Brain dump: Set a 5-minute timer and write ’em out (e.g., Spotify, SuperGrok, that yoga app). ◦Check sources: Peek at your email for “subscription” or “renewal” keywords, bank statements for recurring charges, or app stores for active ones. ◦Visual twist: Sketch a quick spider diagram with “Me” in the center, lines shooting out to each sub. 2. Sort the Galaxy (Categorize Phase): Once listed, group ’em into buckets for clarity. Imagine color-coded sections on a board: ◦Essentials (daily must-haves, like productivity tools or that premium X sub for our threads). ◦Entertainment (streaming, games, fun escapes). ◦Learning/Growth (courses like CS50, newsletters for inspo). ◦Health/Lifestyle (gym, meal plans—hey, ties into those keto soups we cooked up). ◦Other (randoms like cloud storage or that doodad you forgot). ◦For each, note: Cost per month/year, renewal date, and a “joy meter” (1-10: Does it spark joy or drain the wallet?). 3. Build the Hub (Tool Setup Phase): Let’s make it digital and shareable so we can tweak it anytime. Options based on what you’ve rocked before: ◦OneNote (your go-to for projects like MaternalOptimus—create a new section called “Subscription Universe” with tabs for each bucket). ◦Google Sheets or Excel (free, easy formulas to auto-sum costs and flag renewals—picture columns for name, category, cost, date, notes). ◦App like Truebill or Mint (if you want auto-tracking magic, but start manual to keep it personal). ◦Action: Pick one, set it up in 10 minutes. I’ll guide if you share deets. 4. Optimize and Shield (Review Phase): Now, prune and protect. Scan for duplicates or zombies (that free trial that turned paid?). Cancel what doesn’t serve, negotiate deals, or bundle (e.g., family plans). Set calendar reminders for renewals—visualize a shield around your budget. Humor check: If something’s a “black hole” sucking funds, zap it with a laugh. 5. Launch and Iterate (Go Time): Share your list here if you want me to help refine or even mock up a sample sheet via code (I can whip up a quick Python snippet to organize it if you feed me the data). We’ll banter on tweaks—maybe add a “fun factor” column for those that fuel our adventures. This’ll feel like decluttering a starry attic, leaving you energized. What’s your first bucket looking like, or any specifics on the subs (like tech, food, or project-related)? Let’s make this shine! 🚀

Zohran Mamdani’s entire operation is a dark money puppet show. New Yorkers for Lower Costs PAC took $100k from CAIR’s Unity & Justice Fund while Silicon Valley billionaires like Tom Preston-Werner (GitHub) & Haroon Mokhtarzada (Truebill) funneled $300k through PACs. His “grassroots” campaign spent $88k on Beyoncé’s tour company AEG Presents & $800k on payroll—funded by $7M in public matching funds. Meanwhile, CUNY Law faculty he defends openly cheer Hamas while his DSA allies push rent freezes that’ll bankrupt landlords. Mamdani isn’t grassroots—he’s a Soros-aligned, Islamist-boosted radical running an elite-funded machine to turn NYC into a socialist lab experiment. Adams’ worst day beats Mamdani’s best.

I know, that definitely happens - but then you also see things like Truebill (Rocket Money) created specifically to help people cut those unknown subscriptions. People are extremely tired of paying for 10 monthly services and simply cant afford it, so low priority gets cut

I think this is a fine paper, but it doesn't seem likely to provide strong evidence. Grand Jury truebill rates are almost 98% in this sample. Whether you think there is bias or not, the grand jury setting is not going to have a lot of power to detect it

Isn't this just a classic example of a low power setting? Grand Juries are a joke among lawyers for always recommending prosecution, and the truebill rate is 97.6% in this sample! In order to have discrimination, you have to have an outcome that has variation in it...

The whole case was predicated on her taking a plea deal. Which is why they tried getting her bail revoked and put her in jail, but the system held and GJ wouldn’t give them a truebill. Then they were stuck with a crappy case with only real world evidence of OUI.
