I always thought Primaris lore was invented purely to paper over the obvious problems with the Truescale roll-out they were doing. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the lore sucks because it was done in the service of the model update.

By whose criteria? Mine? Tactical Squad, because Primaris lore is shit. In my case, I bought both to kitbash truescale Firstborn. By yours? Probably whatever is best in the current meta. By other people’s criteria? I let them speak for themselves.

I would take a look at tortuga bay. I thought they made stl files but they actually print the models themselves. Its basically all truescale firstborn. No vehicles though. Price wise I think its a fair bit cheaper than gws current prices.

Chaos terminators are truescale(same as 2019 csm, new heresy stuff, thousand sons, death guard and world eaters) New loyal terminators are primaris scale So it would make more sense to cut off spiky bits from chaos terminators for a truescale terminator squad

This is partly why I got into 3d printing my models, I get to deck out my models like the Firstborn while adjusting the scale to Primaris proportions. Also making all of them truescale, aka. Making their 32mm heights consistent with lore.
