⚽ Somalian Referee Omar Artan Shares US Detention Experience in New York Times Interview
Somalian international referee Omar Abdulkadir Artan revealed to The New York Times: “I was interrogated for 11 hours… and I think they have a problem with my country.”
Artan explained that right after landing at Miami Airport, he faced intensive questioning by U.S. Customs officials — covering the purpose of his visit, Somalian politics, and armed groups.
He presented official FIFA documents and photos from his successful refereeing career, yet was still held in a detention cell before being deported by plane back to Istanbul.
The referee linked the incident to his nationality, stating: “I think they have a problem with my country.”
Despite the setback, Artan received a hero’s welcome — both official and popular — upon returning to Mogadishu.

So what exactly have you been doing for the past year besides counting "badge numbers"?
And if this “Space Force” of yours can really identify every person entering Iranian nuclear sites-complete with their name, address, and badge number-then maybe place one of those magical cameras over the U.S.-Mexico border, for example. That way, you wouldn’t need to build walls anymore.
