On an avg if you're earning somewhere between 50k-1L you're in the top 5% of India.
Some part of tech twitter finds themselves privileged enough to look down on interns getting paid 70-80k or more at a startup.
Crazy enough, companies like Expedia, Zomato, Cars24, Unifyapps, Natwest etc. pay lesser amount than this that too for tech roles which requires more core skills 5/6 rounds of dsa interviews then also no certainty of getting an offer. 90% of the people commenting that 50k inr is less aren't worthy of getting hired themselves, if they are they would've simply scrolled down or ignored.
At 18-22 years of age we have people fighting that 50k inr minimum is less ๐ look at on campus placements in top colleges then think twice before commenting, your bareminimum is majority's dream. It's normal for enterprises to pay lesser than that but slavery if start-ups pay more?
It is so easy to structurally engineer a post to sit back see people fighting like cats and dogs. All these smart asses aren't aware of how social media works these days. Don't come screaming at me, all of it seems funny to me.
