LTNs don't help any RD. My Rd is LTN still full of cars parked for shops and Tube and going up and down. And we still have to drive out with traffic from hell.
Today I had to transfer 30 children aged around 6 onto another bus as my bus was 1 hour late. The school teacher told me the children were on a school trip and this was the second transfer that morning. Kids are now going back to school and trip canceled. LTNs benefit allโฆ..
Sadly, not a word :even when there a tragic death due LTN delaying ambulance . @mikehakata robotically repeats LTNs are good. @perayahmet just seeks applause . Really can she do another LTN ,block off traffic from Green Lanes?! Oh dear ,tales, for a clap?
It's so heat warming that our wonderful people are showing such decency and signs of support here on Twitter for the loss of this family. One Tottenham.
Meanwhile, Council leader was lapping up a photo op. Shoring up cllr support? Was with Cllrs Ali, Zena. The only one thing thr leader is skilled in :taking praise. Well done Roland nursery sch:outstanding. Still, Shameful she ignores tragic death of a resident linked to LTN
We believe it is, sadly.
Last week (spent several hours caught up in the chaos and traffic), personally witnessed ambulance not able to pass as both sides were bumper to bumper. The despair on the drivers face was tragic. Many are being put at risk.
I feel devastated for that family. And of course quietly we are all reflecting how that could be us in such a devastating situation, could be us next. Where are our cllr leaders? It is beyond comprehension that they can put LTNs before residents
