One of my friends reviewed TF2C, saying it's too polished, has unnecessary content and is not "rough around the edges" like main TF2, it should've been a Vscript gamemode, and that you should play TF2 Gold Rush instead 0 hours of playtime when they made the review, btw 🥀

This would’ve been totally preventable and I should have tested the hours-long vanilla compile, but I was literally just too busy to do a bunch of long compiles like that, i had a lot going on in life at that point- the vscript thing is practically an act of god though

Alright, the TF2Ware Ultimate Offline Guide is done and in my guide. Its purpose is to be much better and faster than the VScript Chat Commands through Console Aliases. It also has an Index System for faster forcing minigames, bossgames, and special rounds.

You can literally just have that in live through community servers. Hell with enough effort someone could make a Vscript version of it that disables certain cosmetics and weapons too

Community servers reigning Supreme would be great, if anything Valve should stop being a pussy about it and add something that would help Community server traffic. If they're planning to "give" it to the community it should be more than just vscript and the SDK

In my opinion, the maps and cosmetics we're seeing the past few years (especially since vscript maps, and more experimental taunt functionality) are really cool and exciting. Devs are human, they make mistakes, but also love hearing when people appreciate their efforts to improve

Adding onto this: I know people who actively avoid using more complex vscript or other mapping tools specifically because of this. Vscript code that is "too exotic" is generally avoided because they are worried with how casual can butcher it in some unknown way.
