That's fine, so long as your concerns are primarily at that low-level.
I've found that implementing COM interfaces in Zig is like doing it in C - pain, pain, pain.
Whereas in C I can use the C vtbl to make it less tedious.
Tradeoffs, tradeoffs everywhere.

Yeah i had a very personal experience with them that really made me see them for who they really are, and this was before the VTBL post came out.

Дійсно цікаве питання. Але так, це чистої води оптимізація, він непотрібен у класах без поліморфізму, оптимізація: vtbl жере памʼять, ну і ніколи не буде викликано наприклад у сінглтоні.

I decided to publish my exploit for CVE-2024-30051. Just because details about exploitation were released at last few days and it shouldnt add additional threat. I didnt have ITW sample when I developed it and mainly difference is the object type which I chose for vtbl hijacking
