and tbh I personally don’t fw valhoun. personal hc w/ Barney to Alyx is a rotation of maybe uncle/brother figure but if anything moreso just a friend. ( and maybe even like funny older & younger coworker dynamic) but I will never act like this is pure canon bc it isn’t
