It is biblical:
God commands you, His people, to live out the Cultural Mandate in every area of life—not only in “spiritual” matters or within the church, but across all spheres as those made in His image. You are to engage family, work and vocation, government, law and justice, education, the arts, business, science, and every other legitimate realm as His representatives.
Justice: The Lord is perfectly just. Therefore, you must establish societies and systems that reflect His justice. Protect the vulnerable, punish evil, and promote true equity rooted in the image of God—all humans bear His image and possess inherent dignity and equal value before Him (Genesis 9:6). Practice biblical justice: righteousness, mercy, and good order. Do not reduce it to mere retribution or the shifting demands of modern ideologies.
Mirroring Him: God commands you to image His rule, creativity, and care in every vocation and cultural task He has given you. Whether in your work, family leadership, civil responsibilities, artistic creation, or any faithful endeavor, do all things to glorify Him and develop creation toward its intended flourishing. Though sin distorts this—through abusive dominion or turning culture into an idol—Christ’s redemption renews and empowers you to fulfill it.
This is your calling as God’s image-bearers: obey the mandate fully, in every office and part of human life, for His glory.
