Today was one of those days you don’t forget. The bleachers were full of cheering families and friends leaning forward with phones raised. More than 475 graduates walked across the stage, the largest commencement class in Vol State history. This moment belonged to our students. Many balanced work, family, and late‑night studying. Many wondered if they’d make it. Every single one of them is moving forward with meaning and purpose. Some are transferring to continue their education, some are stepping into high‑demand careers, some are serving in healthcare or public service, and many are building stronger families, workplaces, and communities right here at home. As President Dr. Wendi Tostenson shared: “You are prepared. You are capable. And you are needed.” To the Class of 2026: you didn’t reach this milestone alone, and you won’t leave it that way either. You are part of the Vol State family.
