𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭: 𝐂𝐁𝐈 𝐊𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐇𝐅 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 & 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 @CareBestInit (CBI), in partnership with 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐏𝐅 and with funding from the @OCHANigeria (NHF), successfully concluded a 3-day Project Inception Workshop for the newly awarded project: “𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘀-𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝗸𝘄𝗮, 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗠𝗖 𝗟𝗚𝗔𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮.” Held in November 2025, the workshop brought together CBI’s technical leads, program staff, operation staff, Health, Nutrition to align on project goals, systems, and implementation strategies for reaching 40,000 crisis-affected individuals across the three LGAs of Borno State. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 ✓ Project introduction & framework alignment across Health, Nutrition ✓ Strengthening Health & Nutrition service delivery in PHCs and community sites ✓ Government collaboration with BSPHCDA (Family & Community Health Directorate) ✓ Coordination planning between #CBI, #UNICPF, and LGA-level health actors ✓ Review of MEAL systems for evidence-based implementation ✓ Harmonizing roles & responsibilities for smooth project rollout ✓ Setting timelines, targets, and reporting pathways for accountability and compliance From infection prevention and control (IPC), to WASH integration, to nutrition support systems, the session strengthened our collective capacity to deliver safe, dignified, and life-saving assistance to communities most affected by conflict and the lean season. This inception workshop is not just a project kickoff — it is a commitment to collaboration, excellence, and community-centered service.
