𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 ✓ Project introduction & framework alignment across Health, Nutrition ✓ Strengthening Health & Nutrition service delivery in PHCs and community sites ✓ Government collaboration with BSPHCDA (Family & Community Health Directorate) ✓ Coordination planning between #CBI, #UNICPF, and LGA-level health actors ✓ Review of MEAL systems for evidence-based implementation ✓ Harmonizing roles & responsibilities for smooth project rollout ✓ Setting timelines, targets, and reporting pathways for accountability and compliance From infection prevention and control (IPC), to WASH integration, to nutrition support systems, the session strengthened our collective capacity to deliver safe, dignified, and life-saving assistance to communities most affected by conflict and the lean season. This inception workshop is not just a project kickoff — it is a commitment to collaboration, excellence, and community-centered service. This event marked the start of a 4-year research journey aimed at understanding how Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) enhance the resilience of aquatic ecosystems to climate change. Led by @LamyBiodiv and Dr. David Kaplan of MARBEC at the French National Institute for Sustainable Development @ird_fr MESCAL brings together leading scientists🔬 from five countries and sixteen institutions to explore climate “hotspots,” test how fish respond to warming, map larval connectivity across the WIO, and engage stakeholders to understand how existing spatial management interventions mitigate the effects of climate change.
