🚰 WATER UPDATE | CORK NORTHSIDE
This is the latest water update affecting parts of Cork City today.
Uisce Éireann has confirmed that a mechanical issue at Harbour View Reservoir has disrupted supplies to St Luke’s, Lower Glanmire Road, Farranree, Shanakiel, Sunday’s Well, Shandon, Commons Road and surrounding areas.
Crews are on site and supply is expected to be restored by approximately 6pm. It may take a further 2–3 hours for normal pressure to return across the network.
I will continue to monitor the situation and share updates as they become available.

Affected areas:
Pretoria Central and parts of Pretoria West
A team is already onsite repairing the pipe.
It is estimated that water will be restored by 15h00.

Good news! Rand Water has completed the Zuikerbosch and Palmiet Eskom maintenance work.
✅ Mapleton and Eikenhof are pumping at full capacity
✅ Palmiet is pumping at 89% capacity for the next 84 hours
Our water system is now in recovery mode, with supply gradually returning as reservoirs and pressure levels are restored. Water tankers remain available to support affected areas.
