I learnt a lot during the preparation period and underground grinds of pushing the brand
@web3starters and the BOOTCAMP, and yesterday sealed the deal for me on the idea of grunt work.
"This is a friendly personal attack to everyone, both builders and devs, so, jobbers you can skip๐๐ฟ or you can learn some tips "๐
So please spare me 10mins to drive it home.........
"The space is wild and full of surprisingly the same replica of web2 issues but this time it's all online"
Products don't just stay relevant or have value because of actually having the said value but because of the references, hypes, and back-ups involved in it {from the investors, to admins, KOLs and surprisingly their ambassadors} ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ
And the funny fact is, I don't blame no one for this, it's the system in play from the beginning of creation itself a.k.a storytelling.
The more relevant figures in a platform or area share their opinions towards something or a movement, the more the principles, roadmaps and utilities of that movement seems to become acceptable| relatable as well, ๐ค "let's gather together and push out bad governance with this unique talent, someone will stone me now but y'all are selling for bags here" .....๐๐ฟ weldone ma'ams ๐
But that's not why we are here, we are here to talk about the neglected factors surrounding any product, the nitty bitty grunt work that makes all this possible because no matter how the hype pushes, atleast the project has a well strategic target audience, that's one fact, the rest Utility and irrelevant audience can ๐คฌ, {that's basically what it looks like but who made me a judge I'm just pointing out my take ๐}
Quickly let's do an exercise to be sure y'all get the points I'm about to make, think about any project|product both your web2 and then also web3 that lasted for a good number of timelines, even if they faded, just focus on the duration and reflect to the builders effort to create these products........ now add their duration before and after they went viral getting more admins and marketing aids to push....... okay ๐ now you are permitted to think about their crash, rug or sell-outs but take your time and diligently do the first two exercises before that, cause that's my main focus.
Then you will find out two angles in two different stages:-
1. You will find out two factors during the foundation stage {buidling the idea}:-
1a. The developer personally worked so hard on their own to seal their minds on their beliefs and turn it into action and created a start-up brand which is the product/project.
1b. During this start up, they asked the right questions and got clarity through the right spaces, events, friends and like minds. {It was like the universe brought them to the right platform to be motivated to start it}
Then moving on.........
2. You will find out two factors during all their transition after the idea is branded, that promoted the fall:-
2a. The developer|founder lost track of their day1 vision and strategy which made him put in the grunt work from the start and renovated the idea to suit the trend of the marketing ๐ข
2b. They added an influencer a.k.a Ambassadors for visibility not for testing and up-to-date reviews, they went for builders a.k.a your KOLs who had believes in the right sector but not related with their day1 ideas|vision, and they ended up as a fan instead of an employer {chai!!!}๐ช
I wish I could write an article on this but ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ....... ๐ rules, cause these are problems no one's willing to admit both from the admins and the dev themselves, but deep down ๐๐ฟ
Stay locked in for more insights on this, once I see the reaction from this rant, then I drop the next part, I'm definitely making sure peacefully that some people earn their job for the right reasons and some bag those jobs for the good reasons, iykyk - I'm not looking to cause any hate, just resetting mindsets.
I'll be in the comments, I got something attached for y'all.................. ๐โ๐ฟ
