One year after the devastating 2025 tornado, the @ulstl Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis and our incredible community partners are coming together for what will be our largest distribution effort ever as part of “One Year Later: A Weekend of Service.” This Saturday, May 16, from 12–3 PM at the Urban League Regional Headquarters, we will provide food, toiletries, and essential items to thousands of families still recovering and rebuilding. This will be a drive-thru only distribution at 1408 N. Kingshighway Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63113. Gogo Nobantu provides food for 200 people every weekday. People contribute R3 / R5 per meal. And then she has a few sponsors. She would love land to enable recycling to fund food. She does not normally cook on Saturday due to resources but because of #RISETurns1's contribution more than 200 people will get a nutricious meal today. #WeNeedNewLeaders who will make food security a priority.
