Something similar happened to me. I lost 50 lbs over 9 months, without consciously trying to diet or exercise. I just had less appetite, and I started feeling drawn to choose vegetarian dishes and fresh fruit juices. I didn’t go whole hog vegetarian… but I just chose meat less often. At the beginning of that timespan, I stopped taking all medications - for diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, depression. I stopped taking the meds because whenever I would reach for the pill containers, I would suddenly feel nauseous. It felt like my body was subconsciously trying to tell me to not take the meds. I would gag trying to swallow the pills. It was weird. I felt much better without the medications and from losing the weight. I was a little concerned with the unintended weight loss and asked my doc about it at an annual wellcheck. My doc was concerned about suddenly stopping all the meds, and tried to talk me back on the blood pressure and cholesterol meds. I’m still feeling great not taking any medications. I don’t entirely avoid meat, but I choose it less often, and I avoid fast foods. I was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing something like this.
