Molineux: More Than Just Football 🐺⚽ I had a Great day at the Golden Palace! I joined fellow MPs, @WarinderSJuss MP and @patmcfaddenmp along with the DWP, Cllr Steve Simkins and Council teams, to see the @wwfcfoundation in action. We weren't there for the 90 minutes on the pitch—we were there for the future of our city’s young people. Here’s the lowdown: 🐺 Power of the Badge: Let’s be real—a lot of young lads and lasses won't step foot in a Job Centre. But they’ll come to Molineux. The Foundation is using that "Wolves brand" to reach people who feel let down by the system. 🐺 Not Your Typical Office: The new Employment Hub has pool tables and gaming consoles. It’s chilled, it’s informal, and it’s working. It’s about breaking down barriers so people actually feel comfortable talking about their future. 🎱🎮 🐺 Real Results, Real People: The highlight was seeing the human side of the stats. Sureena even ran into one of her former students, "Alex." Seeing a lad who struggled after the pandemic now smashing a CV workshop and getting his confidence back? That’s what it’s all about. 📈 🥅 The Goal: It’s not just about "finding a job"—it’s about holistic support. From mental health to energy bills and financial advice, the Foundation and DWP are teaming up to make sure no one in Wolves gets left behind.
