Wow!
I am loving the new path we are taking in mental health advocacy. The world is evolving, and so should we. What was once associated with stigma, discomfort, and silence in rooms is gradually taking on a new face—warm, welcoming, engaging, and hopeful.
We are creating spaces where people can confidently talk about matters of the heart while finding hope, support, and practical solutions.
It was a privilege with @safeplacesuganda facilitating a mental health and workplace wellness intervention
@Utcl_ug. Through group discussions, some practical Self-Care habits and routines, doing some squats right in the middle of the session, dance moves, sharing experiences, participants explored mental health challenges, their impact, and pathways to support.
We also had meaningful conversations around work-life integration, strengthening workplace relationships, and building team cohesion.
Special appreciation to the team leaders and managers whose active participation and authenticity made the sessions even more impactful.
One reminder stood out: sometimes the greatest learning happens when we create space for people to lead, share their experiences, and take ownership of the conversation.
Thank you, UTel, for prioritizing employee wellbeing.
