Jobs consume far too much of people’s lives. 5-day workweek with 8-hour daily. Only being given 2 days a week to handle household responsibilities, connect with loved ones and rest is not sustainable. Something is always falling through the cracks.

We finally see some relief from the heat to start the workweek. Highs will end up near to just below normal on Tuesday. #ncwx #scwx #gawx

You're keeping me entertained during what is currently an extremely stressfull workweek (a.k.a working 10 consecutive days because I'm an IDIOT) So I appreciate YOU!!

In 2025, a full night’s sleep is worth more than a 60-hour workweek.
Not even close. The greatest strike was the coal miners' strike in January 1974, which forced Prime Minister Edward Heath's Conservative government to reduce the workweek to three days.
The 1926 General Strike has been described as the most important event in the history of the British working class. Around 1.7 million workers across various industries downed tools in support of the miners who were fighting planned reductions in pay and increased working hours.

Can the world have a 4-day workweek? It's complicated. On the one hand, it would be tremendously good for everyone. Psychologically, physically, we would be happier and healthier for it. On the other hand, there are like 8 really rich guys who are against it

Mid-week office grind wrapped up! Grabbed a warm oat latte on the way out and already planning tonight’s post-work hike. Small wins make the workweek feel doable.

Day 1 of my current workweek, weather is on and off with rain, right now it’s a heavier downpour with it changing to a thunderstorm, while being in the mid 70s. Work started out a kinda busy, then calmed down a bit, now it’s a decent pace.

You are partially right! I'm with you, I don't consider Sunday as the start of the week!!!! Per Google AI Sunday is traditionally and legally considered the start of the week in about half of the world's countries, including the United States, Canada, Japan, and India. However, the global perception of when a week begins is actually split into two major perspectives. The Business Standard: The International Organization for Standardization (ISO 8601) officially designates Monday as the first day of the week. Global Adoption: Most European countries, parts of Asia, and international business calendars place Monday first. The Logic: It separates the "weekend" (Saturday and Sunday) cleanly at the end of the week, aligning the calendar with the modern five-day workweek.

True, the system isn’t perfect at all. But the bigger pain is that even with the 5-day workweek, many people still can’t rest properly because life outside work is still demanding.
