What’s so frightening is Elon spending $250 million on Trump’s campaign…relatively, that’s like a man who makes $50K per year spending $12.50. And Elon has already more than made up on his investment of $250 mill from all the tax credit/writeoffs he’s gotten.

Governemnt contracts for 10x cheaper than they were paying NASA for the same payloads. Literally saving the taxpayers money. And tax writeoffs aren't an expense, keeping your own money =\= someone giving you money

Bill: rich guys are known to be unfaithful. I can't see why you would be subject to effective blackmail because of "cheating". Also why would you, a rich and famous guy, need any help meeting other rich guys for more money for your non-profit? You have billions. You need tax writeoffs. None of your bullshiitt makes any sense. And why would you need a consultant for this testimony? If that was all it was, sotto voice. We don't believe you, sing song voice. Bill Gates testifies about Epstein files share.google/Ur43rjkMzWC0Sk1…

The Federal tax rate at that level is 38% The problem isn’t the billionaires, the problem is the tax code. Do away with the tax code. 5% 0 - 500k 10% 501k - 5M 15% 5M Tax Corporations 25% 1% for every 1% of their workforce outside the US. 50% of your jobs are overseas, your tax is 75%. Bring back 30%, tax drops to 45%. No writeoffs, no deductions.

Secondly, the subsidies argument is even more disingenuous, and I'd call a straight out lie. It includes everything from business writeoffs to the "social cost of carbon." (implicit subsidies and such, search around and you'll see what I mean)

I don't think very many people have any objection at all, as long as the infrastructure can be built over time and the demand for EVs is MARKET DRIVEN without excessive government subsidies. When the subsidies were removed we saw the magnitude of auto company writeoffs this time around. But if there's a better product that people want to buy because it's better it's nothing to get worked up about.
