We’re continuing our work with Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), SQA Accreditation and Skills Development Scotland to review the qualifications and modern apprenticeship framework to ensure that benchmark SVQs accepted for registration are fit for purpose and reflect current and future practice. We put co-design at the heart of everything we do and have established a qualification design team and apprenticeship development group of people working in the sector, employers and others with lived experience of care. They will help us take this project forward by identifying what’s important in delivering good social care practice.
