In full agreement, but this is the hatred that burns about SaaS platforms. Maybe Linode has a checkbox they haven’t checked. Maybe this is a bug. Maybe this is Abusix. I find it very ignorant that we can be abusing an antiabuse process.

To be clear, this is not Linodes design/intention, Linode uses @abusix SaaS, but this is a horrible trigger action.

And, if you're running your own mail server, there are hash based blocklists that list spamming email addresses, including Gmail addresses. @spamhaus & @abusix both have such datasets. Very easy to integrate with spamassassin, rspamd, mimedefang, etc.
