AssociateEditor: 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐄𝐥 𝐊𝐚𝐡𝐥𝐚𝐨𝐮𝐢 (@SorayaKahlaoui) She holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) and is currently a researcher at the Institut Français du Proche-Orient (@ifporient) – Palestine. Her work explores the politics of land, dispossession, and property regimes in the MENA region, with a particular focus on Morocco, Tunisia, and Palestine. She previously held a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellowship jointly hosted by Ghent University and Birzeit University. In addition to her academic work, she directed the documentary Landless Moroccans and leads the Traab project. This counter-mapping initiative documents land struggles and property conflicts across the region.
