Creating awareness among children through community outreach, the Community Policing Cell, East District conducted an informative session at 7 Block Park, Khichdipur focusing on safety, awareness, and responsible behaviour. Children were educated about online safety, dangers of drug abuse, good touch & bad touch, gender sensitisation, effects of excessive mobile usage, and awareness regarding new criminal laws. An outreach programme under PRARAMBH 2026 was jointly conducted by the Office of ITO, Ward-1(1), Hubballi and ITO(E), Ward-1, Hubballi under the guidance of JCIT(E), Range, Hubballi on 22.05.2026 at the Dharwad District Tax Practitioners Association, Hubballi. The programme was organized to create awareness among Income Tax Practitioners, Chartered Accountants and taxpayers regarding the salient features and simplified provisions introduced under the New Income-tax Act, 2025. During the programme, the provisions of the New Income-tax Act, 2025 were explained in detail through a PowerPoint presentation, with emphasis on simplification of procedures and compliance requirements. The participants were also sensitized about the taxpayer facilitation initiatives launched by the Department, including the Kar Setu guidance platform and the Kar Sathi chatbot. Outreach Programme, PRARAMBH 2026 for Registered Non-profit Organization along with tax practitioners was conducted by the office of CIT (Exemptions), Bengaluru at “Don Bosco Provincial House, Cooke Town, Bengaluru” on 20-05-2026 from 11.00 AM to 1.50 PM. The session was started with teaser video followed by KAR SAATHI - Chatbot. The session covered key changes under the Income Tax Act, 2025 focusing exemptions section for NRPOs. The program was attended by 36 participants. The session provided structural overview of the simplified legal framework proposed for NRPOs including the unified frameworks under Part B of Chapter XVII and simplified Forms introduced. Information was also provided on compliance requirements and FAQs(frequently asked questions). The participants actively involved and raised practical issues being faced by them which were addressed during the session. Further, the session highlighted the availability of “Kar Setu” guidance material and “KAR SAATHI-Chatbot facilities for stakeholders assistance. Brochures in English as well as local language (Kannada) were also distributed to the participants.
