Mikey Wiley (@Icemike1101 ) put on one of the most explosive scoring displays of @BCAT yesterday, turning the court into his personal shooting showcase. The hot-handed sniper exploded for 28 points while raining in 8 triples, repeatedly feeling like it was automatic every time the ball left his fingertips. What made the performance so impressive was not just the volume of shots he made, but the confidence and swagger he played with as he stretched the defense well beyond the arc and punished every mistake they made. Once Mikey found his rhythm, it felt like every touch had a chance to end with three points on the scoreboard. The deeper the shot, the bigger the reaction, and by the end of the game, he had completely flipped the momentum with his elite shot-making. Performances like this are exactly why shooters are so dangerous, and yesterday Mikey Wiley reminded everyone that when he gets rolling, he can light up a scoreboard in a hurry.
