A Hytale themed official DAW. That is a pretty big ask 😂 I like the idea of simplistic DAWs as fun tools to make something with, but a fully fledged DAW has a ton of features that would take years and years to develop by a dedicated team. I produced the music for Hytale in Logic using an array of sophisticated virtual instruments and plug-ins. I couldn't give the same samples out to you guys because it would be unlicensed re-distribution. I could tell you how I made it, but to acquire the same or similar arsenal of tools I used to create the music for Hytale you'd be looking at spending a good buck. The core of it though: I used Cinestrings mixed with spitfire chamber strings for the strings, cinewinds for the flute, 8dio claire woodwind series for english horn, oboe and bassoon, cinebrass descant horn, omnisphere for ambient pads, ERA II for that iconic rennaissance lute and harps, Highland Harps by Impact Soundworks for more harps, CineHarp for more harp, kontakt factory library for harp, triangle, choir, spitfire albion 1 for ensemble pathces (pizz, woodwinds, fx), spitfire albion V for flautando strings (soft), Voxos for the main choir (programmable syllables) and forest kingdom II for the jungle etc. For plug-ins I used Valhalla Room and Valhalla Delay, the basic Fabfilter series and soothe2 mainly for mixing and Ozone, Unisum, MO-TT and soothe2 in my mastering chain. Youlean loudness meter, Tonal Balance Control and VSX for authoring. As a sort of Hytale starter kit I guess I would say get ERA II and cinestrings core, and then next get omnisphere, cinewinds core and valhalla room. You can cinesamples stuff through a subscription with MUSIO which might be much cheaper. If you have any specific questions about sounds in any track I'm happy to answer. I stream music production every wednesday night (CET) over at
