Red-legged Cormorants (Poikilocarbo gaimardi), also known as red-footed shags. They are distinctive for their bright red legs and feet, grey plumage with white neck patches, and long, hooked bills. These seabirds are native to the coastal regions of South America, specifically from Peru to Chile and Argentina. They are generally solitary foragers but can be seen in small groups perched on rocky cliffs and jetties.
