Thank you. I wrote an update as well. Appreciate it.

Wait, that should not matter. People should be able to break and enter and that police detail should not do anything to them as long as they don’t harm the mayor.

Give @joinmastodon a try! Works a little different – it’s more about sharing/conversation than virality/reputation, which I appreciate. But you can still stay up to date about your field by following hashtags (e.g. #commodon) and groups (e.g. “@communicationscholars@a.gup.pe”) 🦣
Ok I LOVE #ScienceTwitter but now my newsfeed is full of people announcing they're leaving Twitter. What's the alternate platform of choice to share & connect over science? I don't want to stop learning new things from experts I follow here & lose a carefully curated info. space.

Wer als Kommunikations- oder Medienwissenschaftler:in den Wechsel zu #Mastodon scheut aus Angst, dort einsam zu sein: Hier ist die #commodon-Liste, in die man sich selbst eintragen kann. Guten Umzug!
And I'm re-sharing the great #commodon list, here: docs.google.com/document/d/1…

Will be moving most of my academic and fandom posts over to Mastodon. If you're a scholar in communication, media, or adjacent discipline, consider adding yourself to the #commodon list. docs.google.com/document/d/1…

Any idea what the previous high difference between Senator and Governor ballot counts was.

I agree.

Nope. Top of the ticket always gets more votes. Disingenuous or coincidence? I'm just asking questions.

100k out of 2.4 million doesn’t seem that crazy for the top of the ticket. My questions: 1) source? 2) how does that differ from previous elections? 3) how does that differ from other states?

Or people voted for Governor race and not others. Any your numbers like your premise are incorrect

It's weird that 4% of Arizona voters only voted for Governor...?

There was an extra week to engineer the extra ballots

Print more ballots again. Apparently using the same tactic as in 2020. Maybe eventually this will get looked into.
