My colleagues, collaborators, postdocs and students - THANK YOU for making this year's Aegean meeting on Complement Therapeutics an unforgettable experience for me!
I was humbled to hear how I was able to positively influence so many of you - researchers and scientists from across the world, from divergent but complementary disciplines - and I am deeply grateful that you joined me in this exciting scientific journey with one common goal: to unravel the secrets of complement biology and translate this knowledge into novel therapies that can help patients!
According to Aristotle, "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts”, and indeed with our collaborations throughout the years, we were able to achieve so much more!
