Loved being a part of the student excitement in this integrated science/ELA lesson for the upcoming eclipse. Students’ writing was powerful because they gained vocab and demonstration knowledge to actually have something to write about. #contentknowledge

First graders learned how to change direction 🔁 in their sentences by using the word “so” 🤩
All week, they closely read the text to build #vocabulary and #contentknowledge so they could easily retrieve key details about the Wright Brothers.
