I hosted this small event in SF yesterday on behalf of @swytchcode to explore and learn about AI agents and their use in Fintech engineering. #1 the number 1 concern is Hallucinations, contrary to popular Xitter folks this is a big concern for Fintech engineering teams and leadership. They can't ship prototypes to production. #2 Bullish on Agentic commerce and payments, this is future. #3 people use many agents internally, they build tools to solve their problem but less than 5% can be used across the org and has to go through engineering team. #4 shipping production ready agents has become part of SDLC but Fintech engineering teams are very cautious about it, most of it is for internal use. Are AI agents over? 👀 Definitely not, but I think it doesn't make sense anymore to look at agents as standalone products. Rather they are an "invisible" feature within something more complex. People use enterprise-grade products like @gumloop or @AthenaIntell which have agentic behavior only partially, but it's much more. (And it's reliable!) That being said, the agents' landscape still is popular and has new submissions. (New additions: @FastAgencyAI, @bardeenai, @DocketAI, @ContextQa). This was my first GitHub repo and one of the first growth hacks at @e2b_dev btw. :) It's still cool to check what's being built 🔗👇, I still believe there is potential in very autonomous agents like "life copilots" or Devin-like developers. I just haven't seen them much in production, but happy to learn more.
