SRJ Vindicated As @AAdeleke_01's Appointee Confirms Governor's Sister Is In Charge Of Governance And Projects in Osun - Osun Redemption Movement This is to reaffirm that Senator @DrSRJ_ (SRJ), the National Secretary of the APC, was absolutely right about the emptiness, disgraceful state of governance and out-of-control government in Osun State. His open revelation on national television on Thursday, February 27, 2025, about the actual person in control of government in Osun was nothing but the bitter truth. During a TVC programme - 'TVC Breakfast', when asked about Osun, Basiru boldly stated, "Osun government is presently driven by someone who doesn't know his right from his left. I don't know who actually is the governor of Osun, whether it is the person purportedly elected, whether it is his sister, his brother, or the Chief of Staff, or some other people." This shocking but undeniable statement has now been fully validated by video footages of a very recent event in Iwo town. In a widely circulated video, Hon. Nurudeen Emiloju, Special Adviser on Community and Social Development Projects (CSDPs), was caught shamelessly admitting to the public in the palace of the paramount ruler of Iwoland, Oba Adewale Akanbi, that all Osun state government financed projects in Iwo were singlehandedly approved and facilitated by the elder sister of the Governor, Yeye Modupe Adeleke-Sanni. Emiloju openly confessed that his appointment as Special Adviser was made possible by the governor’s sister, and not the governor himself. He revealed that she personally asked for his preferred portfolio, and he was given the exact position he requested without ever meeting the so-called governor. He further stated that since everyone in Osun state knows the overbearing and overwhelming power of Yeye, people from Iwo don’t even bother to meet the governor anymore. Instead, they go directly to his sister, who singlehandedly determines the fate of appointments and projects in the state. Emiloju directly asked Oluwo to dare him and ask Yeye for anything if it would not be done. Gbadebo Olayinka, a vocal critic and the convener of Osun Redemption Movement (ORM) declared, “This has finally confirmed the long standing rumours trailing the administration of Ademola Adeleke from inception that the Governor is a puppet, pitiful, spineless, and ceremonial figurehead who serves merely as a decorative portrait in government. That is why his administration can not give any meaningful account of the over N600 billion that Osun State has received in the past 26months in FAAC from the federal government, grants, and loans. The state is being run like a family business, with the so-called governor playing the role of an ignorant puppet while his sister and brother dictates every move.” It is important to recall that in 2023, Osun local government caretaker chairmen were seen disgracefully prostrating before this same sister for facilitating their appointments, further proving that Osun’s leadership is in the hands of an unelected official. From all indications, the governor is only known for his endless obsession with public dancing in intellectual gatherings, his reckless approval of shady deals of awarding a flyover bridge to Cybercafe administrators, and his childish addiction to weekend partying in Lagos using Osun resources. We, the concerned citizens under the Osun Redemption Movement, call on the people of the state to wake up from this nightmare of democratic enslavement and take back this government from this disgraceful and incompetent leadership in 2026. Osun people are too intelligent and well educated to be ruled by a dummy, the time to act is now, Olayinka concluded.

Community Development: Over 382 Projects Executed By Governor Ademola Adeleke's Government - Special Adviser The Special Adviser To Governor Ademola Adeleke On Community and Social Development Projects (CSDPs), Hon. Nurudeen Emiloju has described the administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke as community development oriented. He revealed that in less than two years of being in the saddle of governance, the present administration has embarked on over 382 projects that cut across different rural areas of the state. The Special Adviser made this known while featuring on a programme bankrolled by Osun state government through the Ministry of Information and Public Enlightenment tagged: STEWARDSHIP (ISE IRIJU WA). Featuring on the live interactive audience participatory programme along the General Manager of Osun CSDA, Mrs Funmi Abokede, he stated further that rural communities across the State have never had it so good under all previous governments as developmental projects are going on simultaneously throughout the State. Hon. Emiloju who maintained that there is no local government the present administration has not touched since coming on board, stressed that the government will not relent. While commending the Adeleke administration for its efforts in making life better for all and sundry in the State, Hon. Emiloju noted that the State is going through unprecedented developments in recent times under Governor Adeleke. Speaking on the role of the CSDA in the lives of Persons With Disabilities(PWDs), the SA said there is no State that has empowered and supported PWDs like the present administration in Osun State. He highlighted the intervention of the CSDA in the lives of PWDs in Osun State to include: provision of wheel chairs, reading aids and empowerment materials among others.
