A cuddle cot is a cooling cot that allows parents to keep their deceased or stillborn baby with them longer, to spend more time together. Unlike traditional refrigerated cold cots, the CuddleCot is portable and compatible with any bed, bassinet, or cot, giving bereaved parents the flexibility to choose where they spend time with their baby. This includes the option to take their baby home, providing a more personal and comforting environment.

Today our players took part in the Otley Run and dedicated the run to the charity 4Louis. 4Louis works across the country to support anyone affected by miscarriage, stillbirth, and the death of a baby or child. The charity understands the pain and heartbreak that families go through and are dedicated to providing support and comfort during a difficult time. The players and management team have all pledged money from their wages to support the purchase of a Cuddlecot. The CuddleCot is in use across thousands of hospitals worldwide, hospices and now increasingly at home, providing a comforting and dignified way to cool their baby, to give families the time they need to say goodbye and to treasure their child. It's a small but meaningful way to support families during this painful time.
