The old plastic CycleOps HR straps from 15 yrs ago never stopped working over time. Theyd have issues sometimes beginning of rides, think due to static, but would resolve in 5 mins if you left them alone. Wahoo strap I've had has worked great for~2 years,multiple battery changes.
