The irony of this is that there are so many of us humans who can't wait to chrome up. I just want a datajack, and to replace my eyes (crappy eyesight).

I was too hung over to make Jorunna art so I finished this instead. DJ fell in with the gang that controls a city called Hadron mostly through happenstance - they didn't shoot at him, the guys in blue did. Flagged for violence due to the throat slice - Splint #action #Datajack

After a tense standoff over the last pack of hydroponic coffee, our astronaut questions the otter’s presence, while the otter quips via a translator chip: “What’s the matter, spaceboy? Never seen a river rat with a datajack?”

I just looked into Subversion by Introversion Software and now I'M disappointed that it never came out too! It's absolutely crazy how closely the vision matches what I'm building in DataJack 2020. Incredible work, too bad it was canceled: youtu.be/1giu6sMnAxY

Super excited for this. Reminds me of the cancelled Introversion Software game: "Subversion". Was so disappointed when it had the plug pulled, and your project seems like what Subversion probably should have been if it was made in 2025.

Grayson is chained to a chair in a cold, metallic chamber beneath The Warren. A single red bulb flickers above. His cracked rabbit mask lies discarded on the floor. His face is bloodied but defiant. GRAYSON: You’ve already lost. You just don’t know it yet. Mr Rabbit stands across from him, silent. Two masked lieutenants flank the room. On a nearby table: blades, a neural probe, and a datajack cable. MR RABBIT: We don’t need you to talk. We just need you to bleed. A lieutenant plugs the neural cable into a port at the base of Grayson’s neck. He flinches as data pulses across a nearby screen. Lines of corrupted Iron Vultures code flicker. TECH LIEUTENANT: Encrypted Vulture directive. He was acting under orders. MR RABBIT: What’s their plan, Grayson? You fed them her location. That wasn’t a warning — it was an invitation. Grayson laughs, blood on his teeth. His eyes flicker toward the ceiling — not fear, but certainty. GRAYSON: You think they want Lina? They don’t care about her. They want you. Suddenly, the lights go out. A sharp alarm sounds in The Warren. Red backup lights kick in. One of the lieutenants reaches for a weapon. CAPTION: While you looked for the traitor… The Iron Vultures walked through the front door. #MrRabbit #story #NFT #XRP #XRPL #NEW #NFTCollection

The main aesthetic design concept for DataJack 2020 remains peering down into an intricate little cutaway dollhouse world where all the infrastructure is meaningful and simulated, rendered in a style that combines 2D pixel art with low-poly 3D models.
