Today, at work I was part of something that physically exists and solves a real issue.

On Tuesday I noticed that the tourist trap selling dick-shaped waffles (who even came up with that pure idiocy?) got replaced by a burger joint. 7.40€ for a hot dog is a bit on the expensive side, but it was a really good hotdog.
Deliberately did not eat at all today to get fast food Hope ts shit good I paid 8.50€ 💸

There is something to be said about underground-ish metal bar that outright plays .umx as played by Unreal Engine 1 and galaxy.dll in particular.

One of our kittens (the especially fluffy one, no less) decided that it would be a good idea to just roll around in a wet concrete. I learned some things: - bathing a cat takes some serious PPE - inside these majestic huge fluffy cats is a surprisingly small actual cat core - wrapping the little wet monster ready to kill basically anything in 100m radius into a towel burrito causes it to look completely happy and purr loudly
I thought about washing them separately so the colors wouldn’t mix… but then I remembered they’re cats, not laundry. 😹🐾

Sometimes you will find truly enlightening information in datasheets, like that a piece of bent sheetmetal is: “NOT ESD sensitive. As a best practice, vendor uses ESD packaging”.

Well, configuration of the module is certainly wrong, but now I understand why military ESM receivers have a some hard time to lock onto RAIN interrogators, the frequency hopping goes hard.

High school reunion 20 years after graduating. (Needless to say here the idea that translates as “high school” works somewhat differently and you have some kind of major at that stage, mine was “Digital telecommunications technology”)

New lalamo trick, you can just place Chinese vendor-slop pseudo-datasheet PDFs in a git repository and unleash Codex to do its thing. It then proceeds to reinvent PDF analysis from the first principles, locally.

Metrologically this is meaningless, but still neat, this is the exact voltage that it should measure.
