TLDR - CHECK YOUR DATA USAGE HABITS BEFORE ACCUSING YOUR NETWORK PROVIDER OF STEALING YOUR DATA
I want to use this medium to provide some clarity and educate those that have been insulting me for urging
@rukky_nate and those who claim their data or bandwidth disappear to show proper proof or check their data usage habits first before accusing their network provider of stealing their bandwidth data.
If your data or bandwidth depletes faster than you expect, you need to check your data usage statistics on your Android or iPhone.
Check on Android via Data Usage
Check on iPhone via Mobile Service
For example, I used around 23 GB of data last month and this month I have used about 1 GB of data. I have been online 24/7 and I can say I have stayed in touch with every important person in my life and I've been well informed of important events happening around me and globally.
Now contrast my data usage habit with that of this iPhone user (see attached video) who has used 131 GB of data since March 1st, 2026. That's around 65 GB per month, for relatively the same purpose.
What about you? How much data have you used in the last 1 - 2 months? Check and share the screenshot of your data usage in the comments.
As of today, I do not work for any network provider. I have equally criticised
@MTNNG for their exploitative pricing habit on one of
@Sowore's posts recently. You can verify.
We can all join hands to hold our network providers accountable but let's do it from a place of truth and accurate data. I used to think my data subscription was being stolen until I researched and discovered the cause and changed my online data usage habits.
You too can adjust as well while we collectively call for more transparent pricing, billing and extended validity period of data plans because those are the real issues.
What do you think?
