3 push pins for American Battery Technology Company on the Deploy24 Clean Energy Transformation Map! CEO Ryan Melsert and Sr. Technical Programs Director Kris Gustafson maximized their time at this year’s Deploy24 gathering to meet with project collaborators, investors, other sustainability leaders, journalists, federal agencies, and others from across the clean energy supply chain.
Ryan also presented at Deutsche Bank’s Annual Lithium and Battery Supply Chain Conference and CFO Jesse Deutsch rubbed elbows in New York at J.P. Morgan’s 44th Annual Power & Renewables Dinner. ABTC’s VP of Finance Scott Smith headed to New Orleans to host one-on-one and small group meetings with institutional investors at the Clean Energy Investment Symposium hosted by Janney Montgomery Scott LLC and the Tulane University Energy Institute.
Rounding out the week, Chief Mineral Officer Scott Jolcover and ABTC’s Head of R&D York Smith, along with members of ABTC Resources team, attended the American Exploration & Mining Association and Mining Annual Meeting, the longest-running and second largest annual mining convention. As part of the conference’s “Sustainable Mining to Support the Renewable Energy Transition” session, York presented our Tonopah Flats Lithium project.
Great to connect with so many colleagues in D.C., Louisiana, New York, and Reno working towards establishing a North American battery metals supply chain and mitigating our reliance on countries like China for lithium-ion battery components.
While we introduced many new people to ABTC and updated our collaborators on our continued, steady company-wide progress, COO Steven Wu kept the team moving at the recycling plant.
