amanita muscaria = 2-2.5HR simmer in water w/ citric acid (2.5-3pH) for 90-95% conversion of ibotenic acid to muscimol to get acquainted. 3HRS will equate to 99% conversion, but 10% muscimol degradation. So, 2-2.5HRS seems to be the sweet spot. You can also do a partial decarb; I believe many have trouble ingesting the cell walls of the mushrooms, so some get nauseous off that, so a partial decarb (~15-30m) helps, and you get around 40-60% conversion to muscimol, and you can play around with that eventually to see which ratio you like most of the glutamate agonist to gaba agonist. .2-2g is a good starting dose. 2-5g = low dose, 5-10g = medium, strong = 10-15, heroic 15
mulungu: we sell an extract, so you don't have to steep it for hours. I usually just turn on the kettle, pour it in a glass, add a stick of cinnamon, a bit of cacao powder and wait for the water to not get super hot to the touch, just enough for the mulungu extract to dissolve, I add a bit of citric add for solubility, mix it as best as I can, then cover it with a lid so the volatile compounds don't escape, just until its fully dissolved. First time dose, start at a gram, try two next time. Then play from there
magnolia bark : (best to get a standardized extract) you want the whole bark, not just the alkaloids sometimes they sell a combo of only two of the constituents, you want the full spectrum. It fills in some gaps mulungu doesn't touch to not make it too long winded, I take 200–400mg max per day of magnolia, and take it 30m-1hr before taking mulungu. I'd suggest capsules, or buying powder, and capsuling it yourself, you can also mix it into water.
gaba, & l-theanine : 250 to 500 mg for first time, afterwards 500-750, and high is like 2-3k, I wouldn't go over 3k, the mechanism just doesn't favor oral bioavailability to the brain which is what makes muscimol so fascinating (one of the primary drivers of amanita) gaba is like the normal key to the lock, and muscimol as a key that fits the lock very tightly, it can get into the room more easily so the effect is stronger even though its not the original key, muscimol is a lot more nuanced than that but, it crosses the BBB way better than gaba can. L theanine, i'd take 100mg first time, afterwards around 200, it also stabilizes caffeine very well 2:1 caffeine to theanine, no more than 400mg per day, it has a pretty flat dose response curve after a certain point, so no point in taking more.
