MKBHD, JerryRigs, Electrek, Fred, EngineeringExplained, Thunderf00t... all EDS/TDS, people I can't follow because they can't help but let it seep into every video. I don't care for it
On May 26, 2026, Ferrari unveiled its first-ever fully electric car — the Luce. Within 24 hours, Ferrari's stock crashed 8%. The man who ran Ferrari for 23 years called for the Prancing Horse badge to be removed from it. Italian politicians weighed in. The internet compared it to a vacuum cleaner. So what exactly happened — and is this the beginning of the end for Ferrari, or a calculated bet that's already paying off? We break down the design controversy, why every EV looks the same?

EngineeringExplained was pretty fair and his math basically aligned with Tesla claims.
He was a notable example of reasonable estimates about the Semi battery weight etc when others were pulling numbers out of their assess just to "BUST" the Semi
Your smartphone uses an accelerometer and gyroscope to measure tiny changes in motion and rotation.
These sensors calculate movement using inertia and angular velocity thousands of times per second.
The processor fuses this data mathematically to determine tilt, direction, and motion, all offline.
So your phone rotates the screen instantly but have you ever wondered how fast it calculates this?

This is a brutal list of issues for the Lucid Air Touring. Review by Jason - EngineeringExplained.
* Frunk wouldn’t open reliably until service adjusted it.
* Two coolant pumps failed and were replaced.
* Broken fan button assembly replaced.
* Charge port door only opens if you press abnormally hard.
* Cup holders clamp cans so hard you have to yank them out.
* Updates failed for months with a “can’t install update” loop.
* Whole‑car audio randomly dies for an entire drive.
* Wireless CarPlay regularly breaks or pairs wrong phone/profile.
* Phone key sometimes doesn’t work even while “connected.”
* Rear heated seat turned itself on high multiple times with a dog in back.
* Car sometimes stays on and unlocked; other times locks you out right beside it.
* Plug & Charge at Electrify America has never worked.
* Speed limit detection showed 85 mph on a 55 mph road.
* Built‑in garage opener is painful to program and only works ~75% of the time.
* Changing driver profile while driving is blocked, forcing deep menu diving to adjust mirrors/wheel.
* Profiles often only half‑apply (seat moves but wheel doesn’t, etc.).
* Face ID scanner is blocked by normal wheel position, so it misidentifies the driver.
* Nav battery UI: can show pack in %, but trip prediction only in miles.
* Voice assistant misroutes nav and can’t even explain how to open the glovebox correctly.
* Over‑sensitive cross‑traffic alerts at normal red lights.
* Lucid app can drain a big chunk of an iPhone’s battery in a day if left running for phone‑key reliability.
* Newest software still causes black screens, frozen maps, profile bugs, and random no‑sound events.
